I removed the tickers for our wait but want to keep that information on the blog.
Our Log-In-Date was 3/27/07. We arrived home from China on 8/14/09 so our official wait was 2 years, 4 months, 2 weeks, and 4 days.
We started our paperwork 3 years, 6 months, and 3 days from when we arrived home.
We found her on 3/26/09 then waited 4 months, 19 days to bring her home.

Isn't it amazing what they can remember? I know when I got the photo of the little beds they slept in at Natalia's baby home, she pointed me right to the one where she slept. Prior to that, out of the clear blue one day she said, "my bed was brown" (she had a white bed at home). Those snippets that come back to them are so interesting to me. Write them down!! I love you all!
Does she really remember her which bed was hers?! I wonder what other memories her mind holds?
It's great that you are finding some of these photos. I wish it was easier to get our hands on stuff like this....especially for the children who were a little older when they were adopted!
I have no pics but Mikayla is slowly telling me things she remembers. It comes up out of the blue or when we are talking about something that might relate or remind her of whatever it is she remembers
Mary you will be surprised....Mikayla supposibly never spoke a word of Mandarin or otherwise, yet I have found she understands Mandarin pretty well and can speak it fairly well when spoken to even though we have not done so. We will give the Mandarin back to her slowly as long as she wants it but I see she is already ahead of me and probably always was.
